The Perpetual Positivity Spell

Flames, Chaos & Unexpected Magick

A few months ago, I lit four, anointed candles for a spell to attract perpetual positive energy.

A green candle to represent abundance, yellow for optimism and clarity, red for courage and passion and blue for emotional peace, healing and calm. What followed was…… unforgettable.

The green, yellow and red candles burned down with such intensity that my herbs caught fire and the smoke alarm went off, all while the blue candle, true to form, stayed serene and steady, a quiet anchor amidst the chaos.

Looking back now, the spell seems almost prophetic. The areas represented by the fiery candles underwent dramatic transformation: opportunities I didn’t even know I wanted appeared, old obstacles dissolved in ways I couldn’t have forced, and my passions, although sometimes impulsive found new channels. It was as if the fire cleared the path before me.

Blue, held steady. The calm intuitive energy has been my constant guide through every unexpected twist, reminding me that transformation doesn’t have to feel like total chaos if you stay grounded.

Warning: When you consciously set perpetual positive energy into motion, it doesn’t arrive politely. It comes roaring, blazing and occasionally loud enough to trigger a smoke alarm - but, if you’ve got a steady blue candle, you’ll be able to navigate the fire with calm and grace.

Cast Your Own Perpetual Positivity Spell

Steps:

  • Anoint your candles, safely (optional)

  • Place the red candle in the southern point. The red candle represents courage, motivation, passion & the spark to keep going even on heavy days.

  • Place the yellow candle in the eastern point. For clarity, optimism & positive thoughts.

  • Place the green candle in the northern point. For grounded abundance, stability & steady growth.

  • Finally, place the blue candle in the western point. For emotional peace, healing & calm.

  • Mix the remaining herbs and sprinkle into your fireproof dish, around the base of the candles.

  • Let your candles burn safely and observe their behaviour 🕯️✨

Focus: Does one flame flicker wildly or burn faster than the others? This could signal energy that’s restless or in need of attention. Is a candle slow and steady, glowing calmly? That represents stability and grounded energy. If a flame goes out before finishing, it may show a block, imbalance, or a lesson to reflect on. Watch closely because the fire speaks in patterns, guiding your understanding of your own energy and intentions.
